The contrast between the language of war poetry and the delicacy of the poppy come together in a trio of watercolour paintings. I have used book pages from a copy of "Twenty Poems from Rudyard Kipling" first published on May 1st 1918. This painting is called "The Beginnings". The aged paper with it's years of handling is a wonderful ground to paint on.
Mounted in a matt black mount which will fit an A4 "off the shelf" frame.
