Artist's description:

Number 6 in my homage to French impressionist, Berthe Morisot and this is taken from something she did herself.
Berthe Morisot painted her delightful "At the Ball" in 1875. Here I have tried to capture her delicate use of colour by glazing one transparent colour over another. With acrylic paint, this isn't so effective as with oils, but I am happy with the result.

Materials used:

acrylic on canvas

Thank you Berthe #6 (2016)
