Artist's description:

I bought a pair of cowboy boots in Houston Texas in 1992 and having only worn them once to find out that they were too tight, they spent the next 24 years being taken around the world with my job postings. I just didn't have the heart to throw them out until, last year I got the idea of making one of them a sculpture. The leather boot was filled with concrete and the outside coated with a Cooper cold cast, the toe cap covered with Brass coldcast and a Brass wire tree and wire roots were added.
This was great fun and I was glad that the boot was given a second chance.
