This painting is of a local man I came across in Lemba, Cyprus tending his vegetable allotment. I drew and painted him whilst he worked, painting a close up of his face to highlight the love and concentration of his work and tendering his vegetables - ensuring they were looked after during the heat of the day.
The painting was created in-situ in Aug 2013.
