An oil painting of a beautiful wee harbour on the west coast of Scotland. Tarbert, Loch Fyne has a wonderful mix of fishing vessels, yachts and traditional boats, all squeezed into a small natural harbour. I have also featured a manmade island which I believe was used at the beginning of last century onwards, to unload coal from the puffers which moored here.
The painting is oils on canvas with a warm red ochre ground. It is framed with a elegant and beautiful wood frame painted pale cornflower blue. This frame is wonderful and enhances the painting perfectly.
