Since my youth, I have been fascinated by the night sky; I spent many peaceful nights in the back yard with my telescope and chirping crickets. My photomontages allow the viewer moments of quiet contemplation and serve as reminders of the vastness of the universe beyond Earth and the fact that it is there always. Here, with the night sky juxtaposed with an abandoned house - its foundation plantings obscuring the first floor - we are further reminded that our lives and our belongings are temporary. The photo is printed with a white border on Lustre photographic paper. The photo will be signed and numbered on the back with archival ink and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.
