Motivated by my obsession with the seaside and the elements of nature, I created this uplifting painting of my two daughters, sat in deckchairs, as the sun breaks through the clouds. I love to capture rain and reflection, and wanted to evoke the innocent care-freeness of youth. It makes me smile to think that the deckchairs must surely be wet, yet they sit on them anyway.
Set into white wooden floating frame.
