Artist's description:

South Stack Lighthouse has warned passing ships of the treacherous rock below since its completion in 1809, and it is particularly photogenic. I made this picture at sunset on a Spring evening after climbing what felt like a thousand stairs with my full camera bag and tripod.

Over a number of days I made several pictures of the lighthouse at different times of day, from different vantage points and in different weather conditions, but this is one of my favourite views as it shows the treacherous rock to best effect while the white wall guarding the cliff edge provides a pleasing diagonal leading to the main subject.

This print is made using the Lambda C-Type process on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Lambda C-Type printing gives true continuous tone, ultra sharp photographic images with crisp and precise edge to edge printing and absolutely no distortion.

The edition is limited to 7 prints. Each print is sold with a Numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
