This beautiful landscape was Inspired by a dramatic sunset on a dog day afternoon in late August 2015. Fast moving clouds moved the sun in and out creating long dark shadows on gorse, heather and pine. Painted in 2 sessions using new gamboge yellow, alizarine crimson, ultramarine & viridian on 450 gsm watercolour paper.
