Original artwork description:
An imagination of the ghats of Varanasi (Benares) at Dawn. This is another painting resulting from my visit to India in 2016, this being an "imagination" in that although I did indeed see the ghats of Varanasi from this location it was later in the morning than pictured here. Varanasi is an amazing place and I would liked to have spent more time there, India by the way is my favourite country to visit (although Bali and Italy some a close second and third).
