The morning sunlight floods into this picturesque farm building in this colourful painting. Belmont is a small village in the west Pennine moors. I love these farm buildings which always seem to be as old as the moorland landscape that surrounds them. In the background you can just see the TV transmitters on top of nearby Winter Hill - giving a real sense of the very old and very new, of low and high technology.
