This painting inspired by wandering through the shady woods near where I live with the hot sun occasionally breaking through to create an amazing light. I worked on this painting over 3 days. I started with a dark base and built up impasto layers to create depth.
It is ready to hang or it can be framed. Works well in a tray frame or floating frame.
Materials used:
Oil, Canvas, Wax Medium and Linseed oil.
