I had the idea for this painting in december: I was feeling quite blue and struggling for something sunny and warm while everything around me was dark and cold. The background is a photograph of a park in my hometown and inside you can find a surrealistic idea of my desire: a door to a different place which could better match my emotions of the moment.

"Summer inside" is a detailed, realistic oil on linen painting. It is stretched on a wooden canvas and ready to hang.
