I have painted several images of the Foret de bouconne through the autumn\winter months, drawn of course by the rich colours so I felt it would be a refreshing change to take the forest as it is right now in April 2016. It is as though a beautiful awakening is taking place, the colours are almost unreal in their brightness.
The painting has been created using a combination of brush work and palette knives. There is a soft texture to the painting. The canvas board is 50cm wide x 40cm deep. The painting has been mounted and framed in a light wood frame of 70 x 50 cm.
Original acrylic painting, one off and unique.
