Original artwork description:

The late summer border is a riot of colour, but I think echinacea with their vibrant pink daisy-like flowers and orange centres are stars of the show! This is a loose, painterly impression of those flowers on a hot summers' day.

Watercolour paper has two usable sides, and occasionally I use both if an experiment doesn't work. This painting has some marks on the reverse but this in no way affects the artwork.

Materials used:

Artist's quality watercolour paints on 300gsm Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper
