The depiction of the human form is an honored tradition in the visual arts. In every time and every culture human beings have felt the desire to represent themselves, from the first handprints on stone walls to the Sistine Chapel, to the students and masters of today. I believe it is an inherently godly desire to see things in our own image. That very desire is a reflection of the mind of God in man.
