Original artwork description:

It's a horse- of course! I decided to branch out into oils and chose a a beautiful Trakehner horse, in a classic pose. Painting on a 30cm square canvas was a challenge!!! I thought my eyesight was failing at moments! But no, I did it!

I used the traditional grisaille underpainting technique, then using transparent glazes to build up the colours. The background is a deep blue which adds to the richness of the bay tones of the horse.

Shipping description is set as Artfinders default, but I will ship this with bubble wrap with firm protection boards, in a box;)
