Llansantfraidd is the adjoining village of Llanon - West Wales Coastal path. The name suggests a strong connection with Non, the mother of Wales' patron Saint, David. This is further strengthened by the fields in Llanon 'The Slangs' having been bequeathed by Saint David to the poor of the village.
The church in the background has a graveyard with many sea captains, pointing to the seafaring history of the West Coast. Many of the walls in spring have Valerian sitting proudly upon them.
