Original artwork description:

Mirages and Refuge in the Grain
During my time in Sweden I made a series of works "Mirages", as part of the concept of "Sanctuary in the Grain". On the surface these are everyday, boring scenes that can no longer be realized and therefore become priceless, become mirages. I also use the room as a symbol of the mind in which one lives. Because we are children of the city, we spend most of our lives in rooms, which largely determines our perception. The technique of pouring grains, here, is seen as a meditative process that will calm the storm in the mind and even stabilize the psyche, after any major upheaval. For example, the traumatic experience of war. This is a kind of graphic art therapy, according to this "Sanctuary in the Grain".

Materials used:

paper, liner, pencil
