This summer I have visit a special place. It is interesting for not only because stone tomb is very beautiful, has different textures and amazing colors. This is a place with great energy. Here it is some information about it.

It is not chaotic sandstone plates conglomerate, but properly cracked stone shell, which caves and grottoes were very comfortable for religious purposes. The Stone Tomb hill was the “Sacred hill” and pilgrimage site for our ancestors. During many thousands of years ancient hunters, cattle breeders, numerous nations – the Cimmerians, Scythians, Sarmatians, Goths, Huns, Pechenegs, Khazars, Cuman people – have been going there… Everybody, who came here, found the solitary place, created original altar and performed religious rites.

Ancient people have left thousands of images – petroglyphs (Greek: stone carving) – in grottoes and caves. In general, the images were not applied on sandstones in paints, as in France or Southern Ural, but were rubbed with the piece of solid rock. They formed the hollows, which sometimes were covered with mineral black and red paints. The monument uniqueness is that images of different historical epochs – from Upper Paleolithic to Middle Ages – are met here. The petroglyphs chronology covers the huge period from BC 24-22 millennia to AD 10-12 centuries.

Rising in the Near Azov Sea steppe near Melitopol, Stone Tomb is phenomenal in human understanding. It is much more older than Stonehenge, Egyptian pyramids and all the Oriental ziggurats. That is why for many thousands of years it was “Mecca” for the Great Steppe ancient priests, who have left here the sacral signs of their religion…

Stone Tomb served as the “world mountain” as the Olympus in ancient Greece. The steppe hill is an original model of the Universe, which shows the essence of space structure, i.e. an entrance into the lower, beyond world. On the other hand, Stone Tomb is an original temple, which combined three worlds – celestial, ground and subterranean ones. The sandstone hill has been fulfilling this role for many millennia…
