Artist's description:

In our suburban New Jersey town, this reminder of our roots sits at a prominent and well travelled corner. The farmland has been preserved through state funds, and will never be developed. On the other had, the silo and barn are certainly showing signs of wear from the weather. Making one wonder what it might look like in another decade.

Materials used:

Daniel Smith water colors, Arches 140 lb. paper

Stokes & Himmelein, Medford, NJ (2015)
