Artist's description:

This is one of the works comprising the series "365" It was a project where I painted one work every day for the length of one year, May 2012 to May 2013. There was no restriction in terms of style, technique or subject matter. It was a kind of visual yearly diary, or a way to put into practice the quote attributed to the ancient painter Apelles: Not a day without a line!
The paricular painting made in 2013 with acrylics on gessoed canvas mounted on wood panel was the work for day 318 of the project . It depicts two old hand carved wooden ladles. The particular composition has been painted in three stylistic variations.
Unframed but ready to hang since the substrate is a wood panel.

Materials used:

Still life with wooden ladles I (2013)
