Artist's description:

During the long grey winters of the Pacific Northwest, a few fresh stalks of flowers can bring a wealth of joy and inspiration. I wanted to capture the strange shape of this flower stalk while it's blooms were aglow. Set against a hand built cedar window ledge with paperweights. Forest in the background.

Materials used:

watercolor paint
