La fin de l'été. (2014) Original Oil Painting by Philippe Olivier

Still life painting epitomizing the end of summer and beginning of fall, painted in oil in a twilight type of lighting.
This work recalls the still life paintings of past centuries European artists. It is painted on linen with archival quality pigments ( Old Holland paints) and oils then varnished to protect it from dirt and handling.
