Original artwork description:

A richly hued still life painting of a brass jug on a dressing table, arrayed with strings of pearls and other jewels.
The brightly painted objects contrast strongly with the dark background, creating a dramatic visual statement in this piece. To begin with, I blocked in the shapes using burnt umber, then built up the light and shadow to create the vibrant jewel tones, finally adding highlights of white and pale yellow to the brass and pearls to give a luminescent effect.

This painting is on a flat piece of un-stretched canvas - it therefore would need to be framed for hanging.
