Original artwork description:

This is an oil on board painting of a variety of coloured glass bottles of different shapes, including one ancient pottery bottle and a glass jar. The shapes and colours are the attraction, with the light reflecting off each object in a different way, creating more shapes and colour. I just love working with light and hard reflective surfaces creating a crisp contrasty effect. The work is done from real life in several sittings building up the oil paint into thick layers.
