Original artwork description:

I painted this the day I found out a friend of mine passed away. He was a passionate, authentic firecracker of a guy. It was the same day that I found out that David Bowie had also passed away. It was a cathartic painting and I listed to Bowie songs all day while I was painting it. I thought of how some people burn so bright and fast, like a brilliant comet across our lives. We are the lucky ones who were able to see their light.
