A bit like grown-up colouring in. I've always had a fascination with stained glass. This was created by drawing the face in the centre - followed by amorphous shapes in the surrounding area. I then proceeded to randomly doodle ink lines over those, and then impose a bit of order by drawing squares over the top. I then did the "colouring in" - systematically using contrasting and complementary colours where I could. I need a lie down after explaining that.
