Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This remarkable Church dates back to the 7th Century, and is twinned with St Peters in Wearside. It was founded by Benedict Biscop who was a Northumbrian Nobleman. This is one of England's finest examples of preserved history and the main part of the church I've painted here is still in use for worship to this very day. The Venerable St Bede elevated the Monastery's reputation when he first came to St Peter's in Wearmouth in around 680. St Bede spent his life between the two Monastery's of Jarrow and Wearmouth. This particular place is special to me as my own wedding was held here in 2004 - when the Scots invaded Northumberland once more! All my work comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
