This stunning fine artwork was taken in 2013 at Southwold. It depicts St. Edmunds Church basking in glorious amber light. The amber is a filter placed inside one of the many spotlights which illuminate this superb edifice. I had to wait until a night time Christmas carol rehearsal was underway before I could capture the leaded windows and some of the internal chandeliers. As the blue hour light was just rescinding I took the shot with a narrow aperture and long exposure. I had my camera positioned behind one of the spotlights, which worked a treat! I snapped 5 exposures, this is my favorite and I love it!
