This is an original oil on canvas painting, the third in a series of 3 artworks, inspired by windy Springtime walks through wild meadows and sitting amongst the long grasses. Through my emotional response and visual memory, the painting has a semi-abstract feel and is developed with expressive palette knife strokes, building layers and texture to create depth and vibrancy. I seek to capture the movement and essence of that moment in the meadow.

Executed with Winsor & Newton professional oil paints on high quality stretched canvas, with universal primer, and with softwood stretchers. Canvas size is 30 x 30 cm with edges of 4.5 cm depth. The image is extended on the sides of the canvas creating a 3-D effect. The canvas is signed on both the front and the back, and there are 2 D-rings attached to each side of the softwood stretchers strung with strong cord so that this work is READY TO HANG to sit flush against the wall, with no need for any further framing, offering a contemporary finish to the artwork.

Upon purchase, your special painting will be carefully packaged with protective corners over the edges, then sandwiched between cardboard and packaged with lots of bubble wrap and waterproof bag, then lovingly packaged in a cardboard box specially designed for packaging paintings and sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed next day delivery) with tracking and insurance.
