The original watercolour "Spring in the city. Ullanlinna, Helsinki, Finland" is painted from natura on cotton paper.

The works presented in this sequence are a result of two trips to the beautiful northern city of Helsinki. They were completed in May-June 2019. If one wants to see a city of the future, this is the right place! Every particle of history is ardently kept safe by the Finns. There are many buildings in the city in Northern Art-nouveau style: solemn and austere, but with playful lines of décor.
But just a few steps from the 19th century low storied houses, and you are in a modern dynamic city as if coming alive from the drawings of the Vesnini brothers. The boldest ideas of constructivism are realized in general residential buildings. The ensemble solutions of modern construction create a unique face of this Northern city.
