Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

The starting point for this was the LED lights under Southwark Bridge in London. Quite unremarkable until I deliberately threw them out of focus and what had been little white lights became colour! There's been quite a bit of playing around in Photoshop, too, but the result is a bit of a mix between Damien Hirst and Bridget Riley.

Did I really just compare myself to those two? I am not worthy - but a lot cheaper!
