Acrylic painting portrayed a young Japanese girl wearing in traditional kimono as a spirit of a temple in mountains. In Japanese mythology 'kami' - word for a god, deity, divinity, or spirit. Kami are of two minds. They can nurture and love when respected, or they can cause destruction and disharmony when disregarded. Kami must be appeased in order to gain their favor and avoid their wrath. Traditionally, kami possess two souls, one gentle (nigi-mitama) and the other assertive (ara-mitama). In this artwork I tried to express these features using warm and cold colours on the face of a girl. This painting also inspired by modern Japanese culture like manga and anime.
Materials: acrylic paints on canvas.
Certificate of authenticity.
Painting will be shipped in a rigid protective tube to avoid any damages during transportation. It's easily can be stretched in any frame store.
