Artist's description:

The latin words Speculum Coeli means, literally, “mirror of the sky ". Lakes and water in general reflect the clouds and the blue of the sky: for the ancient populations, this allowed a dialogue among men and gods. The lake become an intermediary between two worlds (Olympus, home of the gods and the Earth where humans lives) that normally could not communicate directly. So I tried to show this kind of magic through my photographs, that I've shoot on Bolsena lake, the biggest european volcanic lake.
