This series of abstract encaustic paintings are called the "Song" series because they are inspired by music, each title refers to a favorite tune.

The painting is highly textured in thick brush strokes of oil paint mixed with bee's wax and damar. The mixture is heated and painted while hot, and the paint hardens as it cools.
