Artist's description:

Spring is upon us here in Provence and with it some very unusual yet beautiful small flowers. These are immortelles , a flower to bring luck as it never dies.. they can be dried ! The Camargue is up to the brim in wildlife flora and fauna... a delight!

The technique I’ve used here is called Ni Honga . It is a layering of pigments that have been created in Nikawa glue so as create depth and transparency. Painted on fine Japanese paper with Bright Japanese paint and marouflé on Ji Xuan 50 g .

Placed on a board and mesure 28 X 28 cm.
