Artist's description:

I used the traditional Japanese Fish Printing method of indirect printing using archival etching ink on white silk. The silk is laid over the fish and the ink is applied in layers on top of the silk using a tampo (silk covered cotton) to produce the image underneath. Every part of the fish including scales can be seen in fine detail. The silk is mounted on a primed wooden backer board. My signature kanji means "Nature's Teacher". Spending my life in nature, on the beaches, and under the oceans, I have been taught so much. Hopefully, you will enjoy this beautiful example of that nature.
