Artist's description:

This painting was inspired by the beautiful photographs from the Hubble Telescope. This spiral galaxy is the nursery for thousands of hot newborn stars. it is thought to be 180 million light years away from earth. This spectacularly beautiful spiral is a testimony to the awesome power of our creator.
I humbly admit that my depiction of snowflake does not come anywhere near to doing justice to this marvellous galaxy.
The painting is done with Iridescent, pearl effect acrylic to maximise the effect of light. It is unframed but side are sympathetically painted and is ready to hang

Materials used:

Snowflake Galaxy ( (NGC1376) Hubble (2016)
