Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

'Sneachta' is Irish for 'snow'.

Snow Leopards are classified as Endangered and there are only approximately 4000 – 6500 left in the wild. Poaching, loss of habitat, people and climate change are all contributing factors to their demise.

I purposely left the body undefined to give the illusion of the softness of the fur, concentrating the detail to the face only.

Pastel & Coloured Pencil

This piece is V-groove mounted with white 3" board and backed. For shipment purposes, the artwork is sandwiched between two sheets of solid Kraft board for protection.
