Two extremely rare pieces that took two years to find.
The shapes of the pieces were kept as found so they were already snails sculpted by Mother Nature.
What is also interesting about these pieces is that they stand on a blacksmithed piece made from recycled metal that was found on the beach. These sculptures are extremely rare and make the pride and joy of the advised collector. It takes many steps before such art can be produced. One of the requirements is to find noble wood combined with an interesting and well balanced shape. The artist takes countless trips to the beach every spring-summer and ends up making about 6-8 sculptures per year. Each piece has been thoroughly dried up and cleaned of any impurities. There are very few but still some natural cracks that are just part of the piece.
