I usually try to work in a series, and love to see how my creativity works within a limited framework. It is extremely fulfilling to come up with as many arrangements as possible with a specific set of objects. So after painting the nectarines as a whole a couple of times, I decided to slice them up.
I also wanted to go in for a brighter background, hence the turquoise sheet of paper. This painting is completed using a limited palette - just 4 colours including white :-) Done in an impressionistic style with loose and luscious brushstrokes, this painting will brighten up your kitchen or dining room.
The original painting is flat and ships unframed safely packaged in a cardboard box. Write to me if you have any questions!
