The latest in my series of pop art food paintings on unframed A4 paper is a thick slice of American-style cherry pie. This piece is inspired by my love of the David Lynch series, Twin Peaks. The main character, special agent Dale Cooper, loves damn fine coffee and cherry pie.
I love painting food in this graphic, pop art way so that the items become almost abstract in form. The end result is a bold, bright, and original painting that would brighten up any home, or be the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth.
It is painted in acrylics on thick A4 acrylic paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. So the third picture better represents what you'll be buying. It will be wrapped in a protective plastic wallet and reinforced envelope for shipping purposes.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
