The majority of my 'Reflections in water range' shows the distortions and shapes cast by the light from a skylight on an aquarium. For this painting I really felt that the distorted images of checkered light played an integral part in creating a photorealistic painting with an abstract twist.
The painting continues around the sides, so it is ready to hang.
