Team work is the key for the Tour de France teams. Heads down as they balance on the bikes top tube - apart from one! We all love a maverick and that head just pops up. I'm also fascinated by the moving shadows as the bikes speed along. Inspired by a moment from the Tour de France 2015 Stage 11.
This painting is created using oil paints on a shallow canvas which is 50 x 100 cm. Signed on the front bottom right. It is framed in a limed-white wood frame.
