I haven't painted a Still Life for a while (at time of posting) this is just finished.. as always I find them a challenge to get the tonal values satisfactory.. at the moment I'm quite happy with it but I'm aware that paintings seem to have the mystic ability to change their appearance overnight ...

Oil on (Gesso Primed) MDF...Framed in Stained Ash.
