Artist's description:

I painted this view of "Sitting on the Mud" at Folkestone Harbour, on the Kent coast.
It was a warm day with a gentle breeze and I was attracted by the sunlight and shade on the mud and between the arches of the redundant railway bridge, in the background. The steam trains used to trundle over that bridge with passengers for the cross channel ferry, and the Orient Express.
It is an original oil painting on canvas board and would make a lovely gift for someone who grew up with boats, or who has used the channel ferries to start their holidays.

I have signed it on the front, in the lower right corner and It comes to you carefully wrapped and with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Image size: 10" wide x 12" high (253mm wide x 305mm high)
The price includes FREE post and packing to UK addresses.
I will pack it securely, and flat, between two thick boards, and I have a 100% safe arrival record.
Thank you for showing an interest in my work.
