Artist's description:
My artwork is somewhat influenced by colourful paintings of abstract artist S.Delaunay ,which worked in direction of Orphism, a term originating from 1912 when French poet and art critic Guillaume Appollinaire identified the new style of Cubist painting.
Use of colour brought movement, light and musical qualities to the artwork and therefore referenced the legendary poet and singer of ancient Greek mythology, Orpheus. That is how naming of the movement came in use.
Even in the darkest forest, light playing beautiful tricks. I Love looking at moving shadows on the trees, it is mesmerizing . Tree trunks change their shapes, playing optical illusion and creating an almost abstract shapes in the landscape of the forest.
Acrylic medium on the gallery stretch canvas, that does not require framing.
