An original lino print collage, this artwork is a lino print which has been uniquely collaged using strips of original lino printed paper. It comes in a white card bevelled edge mount. "The classic 1922 hand crank Singer sewing machine belonged originally to my Yorkshire Grandmother Edith and was used to sew clothes for three generations of my family. The sewing machine sits idly in it's wooden case now and I wanted to depict it in action stitching through reams of brightly coloured cloth as a tribute to my Grandmother, my aunts, my mum and my sister who once made it sing."
Materials: Permanent water based printing inks on acid free paper. Adhesive (pH neutral, non-yellowing and UV resistant)
