Artist's description:

I've created this art piece as my first attempt with oil paints. I took on a big task with a big canvas and a mission to emulate my style with charcoal works I create. I happy with the end result after much trial and error. This oil painting is focused on my philosophy on life- that we make our own world up as if nothing existed. Knowing that life is quick in vibrancy, then endless silence. The field of depth effect (blurring of face and arms- one hand) links to the rush of time, moving away from us all.

My Purpose:
I link the dark contrast of the charcoal body forms to my emotions and philosophies on an existential purpose in life. I link the free flowing acrylic colour to my desire to think, feel, speak and share freely without negative barriers. I push the acceptance of nudity and baring skin; our skin shows the unique and beautiful journey in our life and should be celebrated.
